Austin families have had a local option for speech and language help since 1998, when Jennie McIntyre opened this practice after years of working in the community as a speech-language pathologist. Today a team of SLPs works alongside her, covering articulation, language delays, stuttering, and social communication, with a particular niche in dyslexia and literacy support. Appointments happen either at the south Austin office or through telehealth, and therapists routinely loop in teachers and other providers already involved in a child's care.
