Before founding the practice, Mitra studied biology, psychology, and communication at Austin College, then earned her master's in communication disorders at UT Dallas' Callier Center, where NICU fieldwork with medically fragile infants shaped her approach. Years spent across home health, outpatient, and inpatient pediatric settings since then have sharpened her focus on infant feeding, the move to solids, picky eating, and early language delays.
