Overview

Autism therapy and services in Flower Mound

A pediatric clinic tucked into the Flower Mound community since 2012, Stepping Stones Therapy for Kids brings speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy together at a single location on Yucca Drive. Children from birth through age 18 are seen by a team whose average experience in pediatrics spans 14 years. Diagnoses treated include autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing difficulties, ADHD, cerebral palsy, and feeding disorders, among others.

Best for

North DFW families who want a one-stop pediatric clinic where a child can receive speech, OT, and physical therapy without bouncing between separate providers.

Their approach

Care is structured around direct family involvement — parents and caregivers learn alongside their child so skills developed in the clinic translate into everyday routines at home. Each child's plan is built from a thorough evaluation and targets that child's specific functional goals rather than a generic protocol.

What to expect

Intake forms for OT/PT and speech therapy are available to download from the clinic website before the first visit. The clinic runs Monday through Thursday from 8:30am to 7pm and Friday from 8:30am to 6pm.
