A solo CCC-SLP private practice rooted in Houston's Heights neighborhood, Space City Speech LLC takes a community-first approach — meeting kids at home, at daycare, or at the W. 25th St. office rather than asking families to always come to a clinic. Telehealth extends the reach to anywhere in Texas. The caseload covers a wide range of needs: articulation, social pragmatic language, AAC, apraxia, fluency, feeding and swallowing, autism-related communication goals, and orofacial myofunctional disorders.
Children and families who need flexible scheduling and want therapy delivered in natural settings — particularly kids with ASD, apraxia, or AAC needs who benefit from carry-over work at home or in daycare.
Sessions are designed around the child's everyday environment rather than a fixed clinic model, with parent coaching woven in so gains transfer to daily routines. Each plan of care is tailored from an initial one-hour evaluation that blends direct assessment, observation, and parent interview.
The first appointment is a full evaluation that sets session frequency and goals; families leave with a concrete plan. Insurance is not billed directly — superbills are available for out-of-network reimbursement claims, and HSA accounts plus major credit cards are accepted.

Courtney earned her M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Radford University and holds ASHA's CCC-SLP credential alongside IAOM training in orofacial myology. Her clinical background spans pediatric private practice, public schools, and inpatient rehab, with particular depth in autism spectrum disorders, apraxia, AAC, and myofunctional therapy.
