Occupational Therapy for autism in Houston
Tucked into a two-story house off Mills Road in northwest Houston, Therahappy runs intensive occupational therapy programs for children ages 0–18 with motor delays and neurological conditions. Daily sessions of 2–3 hours use a combination of Dynamic Movement Intervention, TheraSuit, spider cage, whole body vibration, and sensory integration — modalities chosen to stack repetitions and drive neuroplasticity in a short window. Conditions served include cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome, spina bifida, hypotonia, and developmental delay, among others. Every intensive ends with hands-on caregiver coaching and a written home program so gains don't stop at the clinic door.

Children ages 0–18 whose motor or developmental progress has plateaued in weekly therapy and whose families can commit to a multi-day intensive block in northwest Houston.
Their approach
Sessions combine neuro-based techniques — DMI, TheraSuit, UEU, spider cage, TASES electrical stimulation — tailored each day to the individual child's responses rather than a fixed diagnosis protocol. Parent coaching is woven into every intensive so families leave with skills to reinforce new movement patterns at home.
