Overview

Autism Diagnosis & Assessment in Hurst

Since 2002, a Hurst-based psychology group has grown to add a second office in Burleson, staffed by doctoral-level psychologists alongside postdoctoral associates working toward licensure. The team runs formal diagnostic testing, including autism spectrum evaluations, plus individual and family talk therapy for clients spanning childhood through adulthood.

Best for

Best suited to a family that wants a licensed psychologist's formal read on autism or another diagnosis, or standard talk therapy, rather than day-to-day ABA services.

Their approach

Clinicians draw on cognitive-behavioral therapy, EMDR, and mindfulness-based methods, and the practice offers sliding-scale fees for families who need them.

What to expect

Office hours run Monday through Friday, 9 to 5, and families can ask for a particular psychologist by name when they call to schedule. New-patient paperwork is available in both English and Spanish.
