Overview
A family-owned practice started in 2015, Beyond The Behavior runs two ABA therapy centers in Collin County — in Wylie and Murphy — after co-founders Joel and Jessica Zuniga identified a shortage of local services for children with autism. Kids ages 1–12 receive individualized treatment plans built and overseen by BCBAs, with therapy delivered one-on-one in a structured center setting. Offerings span initial assessments, center-based ABA, social skills groups, and an ABA prep program to help families support progress at home.
Children ages 1–12 in the Wylie or Murphy area whose families want flexible scheduling, active parent involvement, and BCBA-supervised center-based ABA without a minimum-hours commitment.
Treatment plans are written by a BCBA for each child individually and carried out through one-on-one sessions at the center; parents can track their child's data in real time through an online system, and plans are updated as goals are met.
Every new client goes through an assessment before therapy begins, then a BCBA writes a custom plan. Centers are open Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM; the practice does not provide transportation, though school bus drop-offs may be possible depending on route.
