North Texas families can get speech and language support without ever leaving home or school, thanks to this solo practice run by speech-language pathologist Anna Gabelev. Sessions happen wherever the child already is, whether that's a living room in Plano or a classroom in McKinney, and cover everything from apraxia and articulation to feeding and social communication. The practice grew out of one clinician's decade-plus in the Garland ISD schools paired with private-practice work, so kids on the autism spectrum, with Down syndrome, or with other developmental differences all fall within scope.
Best suited to families around Plano, Frisco, Allen, McKinney, Dallas and Richardson who would rather have a therapist come to them than commute to an office.
Rather than sticking to one method, treatment blends PROMPT touch-cue techniques, RDI, video modeling and Carol Gray's Social Stories, mixed and matched to fit each child.
A phone call or email starts the process, and a physician referral can smooth insurance paperwork though it isn't a strict requirement to begin; therapy itself happens in the home or at the child's school.

Trained at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem before earning her graduate degree in Communication Disorders at UT Dallas, Anna is licensed through the Texas State Board of Examiners and ASHA-certified, with additional PROMPT training behind her. Ten of her more than seventeen years in the field were spent as a school-based SLP in Garland ISD, and she also sees families in Russian or Hebrew.
