A solo mobile speech therapy practice in Fort Bend County, Talknique brings pediatric SLP services directly to where children already spend their time — homes, daycares, private schools, and ABA clinics across Sugar Land, Missouri City, Sienna, and Richmond. Owner Erica Alleyne, M.Ed., CCC-SLP, has 20-plus years of experience and a personal connection to the families she serves: her own child has been in therapy since infancy. The practice focuses on autism, AAC, speech and language delays, developmental delays, and neurological impairments for kids ages 2–18.
Autistic, nonverbal, or minimally verbal children ages 2–18 whose families want one consistent therapist who provides hands-on parent coaching alongside every session.
Sessions weave play, picture schedules, songs, and games into goal-directed work on communication, independence, and peer connection. Having navigated the therapy system as a parent herself, Erica prioritizes practical home strategies and emotional support alongside the clinical work.
New families start with a free 30-minute phone or video call to decide whether a screening or full evaluation makes sense; therapy frequency is typically 1–3 sessions per week based on the evaluation findings. The practice is private pay only — Erica provides a superbill for out-of-network insurance reimbursement and shares rate information directly on request.
