Overview

Autism therapy and services in The Woodlands

Tucked into The Woodlands at 9450 Grogans Mill Road, Crown Pediatric is a play-focused outpatient clinic where speech-language and occupational therapy are delivered side by side. Owner and SLP Kim Bradley launched the practice drawing on more than 30 years of experience with children with severe language impairment and autism, and has built a team of licensed SLPs, therapy assistants, and OTs — plus a supplemental Play School for children working toward school readiness. The clinic holds certifications in NLA, PROMPT, SCERTS, SOS Feeding, LAMP, and AAC device systems, making it unusually well-equipped for complex communication needs.

Best for

Families in north Houston and The Woodlands whose children need neurodiversity-affirming speech therapy, OT, AAC support, or feeding therapy — especially those who want a single clinic where SLPs and OTs collaborate on the same child.

Their approach

Sessions are structured around purposeful play — a model grounded in research showing play-based repetition accelerates learning far faster than drill. The team is explicitly neurodiversity-affirming, meaning clinicians work to support each child's challenges while building on their individual strengths rather than applying a one-size approach.

What to expect

Call 832-616-3075 or email info@crownspeech.com to start the conversation; the Play School program has a separate contact at crownplayschool@gmail.com. Insurance acceptance is not listed publicly, so ask about coverage when you reach out.
