Ahmed, MD, The PsyClinic operates three locations across the Houston metro — River Oaks, Webster, and Baytown — plus statewide telepsychiatry. Evaluations and treatment cover autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, sleep disorders, and adolescent psychiatry. Most major commercial insurance plans are accepted; new patients are currently being seen.
Children, teens, and adults who need a psychiatric evaluation or ongoing medication management for ASD, ADHD, or a co-occurring mental health condition, including families who prefer video appointments.
Each patient starts with a thorough psychiatric evaluation, then receives an individualized plan that may combine medication with CBT, TMS, and psychotherapy — Dr. Ahmed views talk therapy as a core part of care, not an optional add-on.
Appointments can be scheduled online or by phone; the first visit is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation that shapes the treatment plan, with telehealth (video) available as an alternative to in-person visits.
